Sodium stearate is a white oily powder with greasy feeling and fat smell. Soluble in hot water or hot alcohol. The aqueous solution is alkaline due to hydrolysis, and the alcohol solution is neutral. It is prepared by the interaction of octadecanoic acid It is used in the manufacture of toothpaste. It is also used as waterproof agent and plastic stabilizer. Sodium stearate is a white powder, slightly soluble in cold water, can quickly dissolve in hot water, and a very thick hot soap will not crystallize after cooling. It has excellent emulsification, penetration and decontamination, greasy feeling and fat smell. It is easily soluble in hot water or alcohol water, and the solution is alkaline due to hydrolysis Main uses of sodium stearate: thickener; Emulsifier; dispersant; Adhesives; Corrosion inhibitor 1. Application

1.Widely used as a heat stabilizer in PVC rigid products, with salt-based lead salts and lead soap, it can improve the gelation speed.
2.As a halogen absorber in polypropylene and polyethylene, it can eliminate the negative effects of residual catalysts in the resin on the colour and
stability of the resin.
