Sodium Thiocyanate, white crystalline solid, soluble in water, ethanol. At the melting point of 287ºC, sulfides, nitrides and cyanide are decomposed. Reacts with acids and strong oxidants. White rhombic crystal or powder, relative density 1.735 g/cm3, aqueous solution is neutral.
